Green MLA Steven Agnew held at rally at Stormont Buildings on Saturday November 24 to highlight animal welfare issues after a dog called Cody had lighter fluid poured over her and she was set on fire in August 2012 and subsequently died a few days later. The dog was owned by a family from Dromore who then wanted to give the money donated for their dog's care by concerned members of the public to local animal charities. They also are fundraising to sponsor a guide dog to be named in Cody's memory. You can contribute to the fund at www.justgiving.com/justiceforcody
