Ireland is inviting anyone in Fermanagh and Tyrone who would like to find out more about local environmental politics to come along to an open information evening on
April 3rd, 2012 in the
Clinton Centre, Enniskillen
Green Party Leader Steven Agnew MLA will be at the event to discuss the issues relevant to the locality including his Party’s campaign to oppose Fracking in Northern Ireland.
We want to establish an active Green Party constituency group in Fermanagh and Tyrone so that we can make sure that concerned residents’ have their opinions heard and represented when it comes to issues that are so important in this area like Fracking.

The Department for Trade and Enterprise has
recently granted two companies licences to run feasibility studies for drilling for oil here in Northern Ireland ! Permission has been granted to drill test wells. Several sites have been chosen
already these include Rathlin Island and Cairncastle, outside Larne. If like me you are appalled by this development please sign our petition at:
